Laptops

Most of the blind students coming for computer training do not have their own computers and laptops and so are unable to practice after they return to their hostels / homes. Given their economically weak background and their need to build on training at the Centre, this gap needed to be addressed. In view of this, the Centre has been collaborating with several organisations to provide students with laptops at highly subsidised rates. These organisations include SAKSHAM, an NGO in the field of disability, ReNew MIT Technology, British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and Communications Test Design India Private Limited (Bangalore) - a technical supply solution provider company.
